The girls called me into their room tonight,  to give me a lil performance. I was so impressed... I have to share   I had to use my cell phone to record so it's a bit blurry, but it's still hilarious!!!!  Gotta watch them all!

WOW!!!!!!!!! How time flies~ TODAY is Joshua's 13ths birthday....it seems like it was just yesterday that he was in diapers!  There are so many funny stories to tell about his 13 years, but some memories that come to mind at the moment are:

When he was about 2 years old, he LOVED to listen to Michael Jackson on the stereo.  We would turn up the music, and he would put socks on his hands and arms like gloves and ruuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnn around in circles and dance dance dance! - we have a video of this somewhere :)

I remember the first time he REALLY bust out in a laugh. ( he was about 9 months or so I think) While sitting in Simons truck, with Joshua in his car seat between us, I had started singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider to Joshua... and he just laughed and laughed SO loud! This was the first time we had really heard him do this. ( Simon's smile was the biggest I'd ever seen )

Another time I had the television on and it was turned to the Three Stooges....and he was ABSOLUTELY rolling in the floor.... even tho he had hardly a clue what the words meant. I peeked around the corner and saw that he was busting out EVERY time the Stooges were doing bodily harm to one another or just being plain goofy.  He still loves this kind of humour....his favorite show is The Family Guy.  I hear him today....still busting out with that wholesome laugh. It's the most beautiful thing to my ears.

I have another story about the baby bed... and a dirty diaper but I'll save that one for another birthday.

Today Josie, Jordan and  I picked Joshua up from a wrestling match at Guthrie High School and took him to eat at a very neat old cafe in the town of Guthrie. He ate ribs - one of his favorite foods! His sisters conspired with our really cool young waitress, (without Joshua supposively knowing...wink wink) and when it came time for the waitress to bring the doggie bags...the waiters and waitresses brought a funny Happy Birthday Day hat that resembled the Mad Hatter's hat from Alice and Wonderland, a  big bowl of ice cream with brownie, m&m's, whipped cream, chocolate syrup and 4 spoons! They sang Happy Birthday to Joshua and we enjoyed the ice cream...compliments of the house. All being stuffed, we all 4 crammed into an old wooden Telephone booth and the waitress was kind enough to snap our pic. I had forgotten to bring my good camera so we had to use my cell phone ( thank GOODNESS for cell phones with camera's!)

I gave Joshua an ID bracelet with his name engraved on it. I hope he keeps it forever...cuz I'll love him forever and when I'm not around...it'll remind him of how much I will alwasys love him, of his 13th birthday night and how much fun we had!
