Last night Angie and I went to see Stevie Nicks and Chris Isaak at the Zoo. We went with Brian and a friend of his. The great news is that Angie's friend Angela gave us the tickets as a gift! Thanks Angela.
Now, Chris Isaak to me is one of the best recording artists out there. I would rank his Forever Blue album in my top 10 favorites. I've attached the song "Forever Blue" from this album. Give it a listen and I promise if you listened to this album all the way through, uninterrupted, it is likely to become your favorite as well. Stevie Nicks.......Enjoyed seeing her and I can not think of any other female artists with such a rich and varied rock-n-roll history. I'm proud to have seen her. I've attached one of Angie and my favorite songs by her called "Landslide". Of course, this song would not have been anything if Lindsey had not put the melody to it. Lindsey is playing the guitar on this song...... ![]() Tuesday, May 29

A couple of days ago, the whole fifth grade had a graduation. Everybody dressed up and it was GREAT! The 5th grade sat in rows of chairs while parents sat in chairs in the back. People went up and gave speeches. Then the orchestra got to play. We played Packobell Canon, Barn Dance, and Ode to Joy. It went really good! Then came the awards. Everybody got one, but I got two. One for being in Mrs. Sleik's class and one for being in Orchestra. I was glad I got more than one award. We also had to sing two songs, but I don't know what they were. Now it's time to move on. About a week ago, dad got a new pool. It is a 18feet by 4 feet long. The pool is 5 ft deep. I went swimming in it alot. It it so much fun! I love the new pool daddy! Thank you for getting it! Well, that's all until I have something new to share! Bye-Bye!

Jordan was watching me mow the lawn and she seemed very interested in the mower. So, I asked her if she wanted to try and she took over the mowing operation. Attached is a 10MB video of her mowing. Thursday, May 24

Below is a quote from CHRISTIAN evangelist, Bishop T.D. Jakes. He was interviewed on NPR the other day, and I was truly impressed. Follow this link to read the interview in its entirety. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=10173772 "I know many people who really love the Lord, but they might not be a good president," Jakes says. He says that to be an effective leader, "you can't just be the president of the Christians." "You have to be the president of the United States, which incorporates atheists, agnostics and all brands of faith," Jakes says. "And many, many Christians don't understand that. They see this as a Christian nation. But I don't see this as a theocracy. I see it as a democracy." |
